The Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies was founded in 1992 by Drs. Marylie W. Gerson and Michael J. Gerson.
As experienced clinicians, educators, and researchers, they recognized the need for continuing education programs that were both intellectually substantive and accessible to practicing psychologists. Since 1992, the Institute has remained committed to providing scholarly, clinically relevant, and accessible continuing education for psychologists and mental health professionals.
